First step towards full re-opening

After months of hard lockdown, we are delighted to advise our members that we can now take the first step in reopening the clubhouse. From Thursday October 22, members with their own boats and paddles will be able to use the clubhouse.

Zoom in for the AGM next Thursday, October 22 at 7.30 pm

This is a reminder to all members that our AGM will be held via Zoom next week. As well as a recap of the 2019-20 year, we will be announcing the club awards. It would be great to have some new committee members to contribute to the effort needed to re-energise the club after the lockdown.

Clubhouse to close again tonight, July 8

The rising number of COVID infections in Melbourne has necessitated another period of lockdown. Sadly, we will have to close the clubhouse again from midnight July 8 for the duration of the lockdown.

Member update

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented us all with unprecedented challenges and difficulties.  I believe paddlers are well placed because our sport takes place outdoors, is non-contact and its is easy to maintain appropriate social distancing.
