INCC’s beginners’ course has been the start for many of our members. The program is run in small groups over three two-hour sessions. In that time you can develop the basic skills and confidence to paddle flatwater kayaks safely.

Izzie Neilson – Progress Leader Junior Sports Star of the Year

Congratulations to Izzie Neilson who was awarded the Progress Leader Junior Sports Star of the Year award on the 17th of November. The INCC/MLC paddler was recognised for her amazing results at the Australian National Marathon Championships and ICF  World Marathon Championships earlier in the year where she placed 9th in singles and 11th in doubles.

Oli James – Australian Junior Canoeist of the Year

Congratulations to INCC member Oli James who won the Junior Conoeist of the Year award at the 2015 Australian Canoeing Awards night held in Sydney on the 14th of November. At the 2015 Canoe Sprint National Championships, Oli won all but two events across the under 18 category.

Club night & AGM on October 29

The annual club night will be held on October 29 this year. The Annual General Meeting will start at 6.30pm, followed by dinner, club awards and a presentation by the INCC members who recently competed at the World Championships.
