Congratulations to INCC member Oli James who won the Junior Conoeist of the Year award at the 2015 Australian Canoeing Awards night held in Sydney on the 14th of November.
At the 2015 Canoe Sprint National Championships, Oli won all but two events across the under 18 category. At the Junior World Championships, Oli finished 7th in the final of the Men’s 1000m K1.
Although the award is for his sprint success, it should able be noted that Oli has also had a fantastic year in the Marathon discipline where he also represented Australia at the ICF Marathon World Championships.
