January 2020 President’s report

Dear Members, It’s been a tough summer in many ways. I send my thoughts to those affected by the horrific bush fires and extreme weather conditions over the last few months. Despite the smoke, floods and the muddy waters of the Yarra members have been out in force, keeping fit and making the most of their paddling opportunities.   Building Update The building subcommittee has been working hard with Yarra Council to formulate a practical way forward to improve our facilities.

Summer holiday program on again

January 3, 2020
For the past few years, INCC Yarra Paddlers has offered a great summer holiday program for kids aged 8 -14 who paddle or want to learn. The first-day (Monday January 13) is compulsory as it starts at the Northcote Pool for a fun morning that includes a water safety swimming assessment.

2019 AGM & Club night

Members, friends and family are all welcome at the 2019 INCC Yarra Paddlers AGM and Club Night to be held on November 8 at 6.15pm at the same great venue we had for the last two years, the Bargoonga Nganjin Bagung Magali/Waa-Community Room at 182-86 St Georges Road, North Fitzroy.

Thinking of Greg

Many club members will know Greg Kerr and be very sad to hear that he has terminal cancer. Greg joined INCC in the early 2000s and very quickly became active in club administration and coaching programs.
