No less than half the Australian Canoe Marathon Team for the World Championships to be held in Gyor in September are members of our club! The team includes: Andrew Holloway Callum Gosbell Oliver James Edward Lovick Hamish Young Isabel Neilson Penny Young Reka Abraham Stephanie Langley We are selling cookies and slices to raise money to help the team with travel costs We have set up a shop on the INCC website so you can order and pay for your cookies online.

Clubhouse redevelopment shelved again by Yarra Council

While preliminary design work was funded in the 2014-15 financial year and undertakings given that this year’s budget would include a $360k capital budget for redevelopment of the Panther Pavilion in Fairfield Park, Yarra City Council’s final budget for 2015-16 has no allocation for the project.

Renew your membership by July 17

Membership for the 2015-16 year is now open. Renew by July 17 to avoid being locked out and to take advantage of the $10 early bird discount. The clubhouse lock will be changed on July 18, Come along on that day between 11 am and 1 pm to get your new key, catch-up with other members and enjoy the sausage sizzle.

2015 Australian Canoe Marathon Team Selection Policy Update

Australian Canoeing have released some initial advice regarding the Selection policy and team nominations for the 2015 Australian Canoe Marathon Team. The policies are yet to be formally approved and ratified, however AC have indicated there will be 3 Australian Team tours during 2015.
