Reg Hatch

Reg Hatch served on the INCC Committee from 1987 (possibly earlier), including a period as Vice President (and Boat Captain) until 1991. He led the Ivanhoe Grammar kayak team while the school was an affiliate of the Club.

Rob Russell

Rob Russell served on the INCC committee for 20 years from 1992. He was instrumental in lobbying for additional space on the clubhouse site and for the establishment of facilities. During his tenure membership tripled and the 30 club boats were transformed into a fleet of 60 modern craft in every class.

Ross Chenoweth 1931-98

Ross Chenoweth was a kayaking pioneer. A champion paddler and well-respected administrator, he founded the Ivanhoe Northcote Canoe Club in 1956 (originally known as Ivanhoe Canoe Club) after the closure of the ‘Rudder Grange Canoe Club’.
