Good news!
After years of hard work, we have managed to be included in the Yarra Council’s draft budget for an upgrade to our facilities. There is now a period of community consultation on the draft. We would like to take this opportunity to fill out the feedback form below:

“I support the funding of an upgrade to the Ivanhoe & Northcote Canoe Club pavilion in Fairfield Park. The club provides healthy activity for everyone, across genders, ages and abilities and connects the community to the wonderful Yarra River. The current clubhouse does not meet building standards, does not provide access to people with disabilities and is not fit for purpose. An upgrade will ensure more people can participate in canoeing and kayaking in a safe, welcoming environment. We will also be able to increase our programs and provide better facilities for everyone who wants to enjoy kayaking as a sport or recreation. The club has over 300 members and is a vibrant, growing community. The provision of healthy outdoor activity is vital to our inner urban residents and contributes to the well-being of everyone involved.
