Looking ahead to 2024-25

Membership fees and private boat insurance

In the coming weeks, members will receive notifications from Paddle Australia to renew their membership (please wait until the system opens for 2024-25 in early June).

The club fee component of new memberships and renewals will not change for 2024-25, however Paddle Australia and Paddle Victoria registration fees will increase by $5, resulting in an overall increase of $5. More information

We are aware that many people are feeling the financial pinch at present, so if you are in financial hardship we want to help keep you paddling. Please use the membership enquiry form on the website to get in touch.

From July, the club will no longer offer insurance cover for private boats stored in the clubhouse. Members who have private boats are encouraged to insure their boat through the ‘Paddle Protect’ policy which is available via the Paddle Australia website.

A safe and tidy clubhouse

Ever since the COVID lockdown when we couldn’t use the changing rooms, some members have continued to leave their bags in the main room. On some occasions, these create trip hazards for people manoeuvring boats out of the racks and through the door. Please leave your gear in the changing rooms.

Please help us to keep our old clubhouse tidy by not leaving stuff on the table or lying around, wash your cups in the kitchen and generally help us all be a bit more house-proud!

During the afternoon we found a number of private boats that we couldn’t match to our rack allocation records. If your boat or someone that you know has a boat with a sign on it, can you please help us by contacting us via the rack enquiry contact form on the website so we can update the records.
