It’s that time of year again! Our INCC Christmas party has come and gone, and it was a blast!
As always our Christmas event was filled with lots of laughs, amazing people and an awesome sense of community! People from all sorts and levels of paddling came to the event, leading to some awesome conversation and new friends made. We also had some members from the local council come along and join in the fun!
This event was made even more special by the official opening of the Rob Godwin Gymnasium. This gym has been a labor of love for many of our members. So much work has gone into the new facility and it has already been put to good use by our new INCC Bootcamp on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm.
The namesake of the gym, Rob Godwin made beyond significant contributions to the development of the new facility, both through hands-on work and through his role on the INCC Committee. Rob was also awarded the Club contributor award for 2018 for all of his work this year.
Special mention also to Brendan Clarke, Mike McIver, Megan Macko, Arabella Eyre and many, many more who helped make the gym a success and are busy promoting its use.
This gym really shows what we can do as a community and we’re very thankful to be able to share our success with everyone in the INCC family. We hope that everyone in the INCC community has a wonderful Christmas and holiday season.
