The course has been scheduled for Friday 16th to Sunday 18th August 2019 at Paddle Victoria, Westerfolds Park, Templestowe.
Friday night will be a 6 pm – 9 pm session
Saturday and Sunday will run from 9 am – 5 pm and will consist of some off-water theory based learning as well as on water sessions.
The course will cover the Flatwater discipline.
The price is $285.00 for Paddle Victoria Club Members and $450.00 for non-members.
You will be required to pay a further $44.00 to Paddle Australia for your 4-year registration.
Pre-requisites for the course include:
- First Aid Certificate – This can be completed at any stage before you receive your qualification.
- Working with Children Check for those over 18
- Community Coaching Certificate – Satisfactory completion of the Australian Sports Commission’s Beginner Coaching General Principles course is also a pre-requisite.
This can be done online (free) by registering at https://learning.ausport.gov.au/. Once complete, please print out the Certificate and either email it to me or bring it with you to the coaching course.
