All INCC Yarra Paddlers can get out on the water this weekend!
October 30, 2020

With the significant easing of restrictions this week, we are delighted to advise all our members that we can again use club boats and paddles – as long as they are washed down and disinfected after every use.

We can use the toilets and change rooms but not the gym, kitchen, or congregate inside.

It has been such a long time since we all could be on the water, so pace yourself – keep up the physical distancing and masks when you are around the clubhouse…and if you haven’t paddled for a while, take it easy on those muscles – but whatever you do, take advantage of the good weather forecast for the Melbourne Cup ‘long weekend’ and enjoy our beautiful Yarra.
You need to have your own PFD and please follow the rules when you use club boats and paddles

Junior paddling update
The club is excited about a new squad for secondary school students called the Yarra Yakkers starting in the new year. Sign up details will be available on the website soon.

Our primary school program, the Paddleroos, will be starting back on the water in the next few weeks, so spread the word amongst family and friends to get new children joining up to this fun program.

SORRY As we all know despite efforts to seal it up, the clubhouse is home to possums. They have enjoyed the place while we have all been locked down, so please don’t be surprised to find possum poo around the place. You will appreciate that it is difficult to get in and around the boats without damaging them, so we will leave that bit of cleaning to you. All members who have borrowed club boats and paddles for the lockdown are asked to return them to the clubhouse this weekend. Thanks.
