The M2M multisport event will have two paddle legs, 15km from Eaglemont to Dights Falls then 16km from Dights Falls to Docklands.  If you’re interested in doing one or two of the paddle legs you can contact Liam Delany.  Visit the M2M website for more details.

For INCC members thinking about racing for the first time and those who would like to work on their racing skills – washriding, starts and turns – there will be a session at 10 am on key changeover day, June 30.

This race is designated doubles Winter Series event for paddlers, conducted by the Footscray Canoe Club Inc.

Venue: Footscray Canoe Club, Farnsworth Ave (Cnr Maribyrnong Blvd)

Course: Laps of the Maribyrnong River. Flat water, no snags, no eddies.

Entry Fee: Seniors $20/ Juniors $15

Race briefing is at 10.30am.. 1st race starts at 11am.

After years of Lake Wendouree being nothing more than a very sad mud flat, the water is back! The 3rd race in the 2012 Winter series will be held on the lake.

On line entries are encouraged via Canoeing Victoria website, however, entries will be taken on the day until 10.15am.

The briefing will be at 10.20 for an 11am start. The start will be near the Olympic rings at the corner of Wendouree parade and Hamilton Avenue.
